The Grooming Market for Men is evolving and pushing boundaries in the Middle Eastern region

For the Middle Eastern markets, the focus for the years to come will be on a specific fast growing segment: men’s shaving and grooming market.

“Men’s grooming is rapidly carving out its own niche in the beauty industry, as men invest more on grooming products and styling to rival their female counterparts,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the organiser of Beautyworld Middle East.

Even Euromonitor International market research company outlines that spending on male grooming products by Middle Eastern men is predicted to grow by 25% to $829m in 2019. In the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC) alone, the market is expected to see growth of 32% from $426m to $561m.

Men’s grooming routines are more entrenched and have become an essential part of a man’s daily lifestyle. Being well groomed is seen as designating a particular social class, as well as being essential to success in climbing the corporate ladder, reports Euromonitor.
